Repurpost ("we," "us," "our") operates the website repurpost.app. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. We are a solo-operated service and take your privacy seriously. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone.

2. Data We Collect

Information you provide

• Email address — collected when you create an account. Used for authentication and transactional emails (e.g., email confirmation, account notices).
• Content you submit — blog posts or articles you paste into the tool. Processed to generate your social media posts and stored in your generation history.
• Generated output — the social media posts produced by the AI, stored so you can view your history.
• Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We receive only a subscription status and customer ID from Stripe.

Information collected automatically

• Vercel Analytics — we use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, referrers, country-level geography). This is privacy-friendly, does not use cookies, and does not track individual users across sites.
• Server logs — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp) retained briefly for security and debugging purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service
• To authenticate your account and maintain your session
• To process your content through our AI pipeline and return results
• To store your generation history so you can access past outputs
• To manage your subscription and enforce usage limits
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts)
• To detect and prevent abuse or fraudulent activity

We do not use your submitted content to train AI models. Content you submit is passed to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your requested output, subject to Anthropic's API data usage policies.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers to operate the Service:

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Your generation history is stored indefinitely so you can reference past outputs, but you may request deletion at any time. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (session management via Supabase). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. Vercel Analytics operates without cookies.

7. No Ads, No Data Selling

We do not display advertisements. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Your data is used exclusively to operate the Service for you.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your generation history
• Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and relying on SOC 2-compliant infrastructure providers. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the site or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
